Loneliness is a problems for many renters who live in a single one bedroom apartment home. When you think about coming home to a quiet apartment that is only 600 or 700 square feet, its easy to see how this could be so. But there is something that you can do about it. And with a little practice living alone isn’t so bad at all.

Engage In Activities

If you are just staring at a wall or looking outside the window, it might make sense that your bored. Look for activities in and around your apartment home that will occupy your free time. If your a female, you might enjoy cooking meals, knitting, or reading some of your favorite magazines. For you guys, you might think about playing a musical instrument. Its easy to get lost for hours in a hobby. And if its something you love, all the better.

Many apartment communities also have a myriad of social activities and events for everyone. Have you been inside your fitness center? Chances are if you live in a community that has been constructed in the last few years, the fitness center will rival that of a gym you might pay monthly dues for. You will find treadmills with flat television screens, elliptical machines, and even free weights too. And you actually might meet some new friends while your at it.

And if your not the kind of person who enjoys a workout, many apartments have awesome resort style pools, WIFI hot spots, and more. Just because you live alone, doesn’t mean you have to spend all your time by yourself. Some apartments even offer cooking classes and wine tasting events too.

Not many people feel comfortable living alone or being alone. Its extremely important that you learn to be alone without feeling depressed. It is unhealthy after all.
